Connecting to OpenNIC via Control Panel: A Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Open the Control Panel on your computer.
Step 2: Click on "Network and Internet".
Step 3: Click on "Network and Sharing Center".
Step 4: On the left side, click on "Change adapter settings".
Step 5: Right-click on the network connection you want to configure (Ethernet or Wi-Fi), and then click on "Properties".
Step 6: In the networking tab, under "This connection uses the following items:", click on "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)", and then click on the "Properties" button.
Step 7: In the new window, click on "Use the following DNS server addresses", then enter the OpenNIC DNS servers for Central US. For example, you can use "138.197.140.189" and "38.103.195.4".
Step 8: Click "OK", then "Close" to save your changes.
You should now be connected to OpenNIC. To check if it's working, try visiting an OpenNIC domain in your web browser.
